Hello everyone! Once again, long time no speak. I have just
been so busy with work. Tonight I was going to do my nails for breast cancer
awareness month but sadly it was too dark for me to take photos. Hopefully I can
get a few posts prepared at the weekend for the coming weeks. Today is just a
simple manicure, the fastest galaxy nails ever!

Purple With Stripes
Hello everybody! Long-time no speak and I am so so sorry
about that. I have been back at school for 2 weeks and I am just crazily busy! I
will try and make more time for posting but what with my broken nail and being
so busy, I haven’t really been in the mood. However, my nail is starting to
return to a more normal length and to be honest, I have really missed blogging.
Today I am going to show you some nails that I did after seeing this by the amazingly talented Raquel from 9ml Universe. I was going to my friend’s house for her birthday on Sunday and I wore them for that. They received very positive feedback which I was pleased about! Anyway, on to the pictures.
I used a random purple Accessorize polish for the base (awful, it peeled :( )and Orly Oui for the stripes. Upon reflection I wish I had used a lighter base colour in order to show the purple of the Orly better as all you can really see is the gold shimmer. Nether the less I love it!
It was done with striping tape basically the same way as in this manicure. It did take a while but after a couple of nails I got the hang of it and was able to do it faster.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will try to do at least another post this week. Thank you for bearing with me and, of course, for reading!

Simple Roses
Hello everyone! This is a manicure I did a couple of days
ago when we had a lovely bit of sunshine here in the UK.
It is based on a tutorial that CutePolish did which I watched a long time ago but never got around to do. Some things are a little bit different to hers though.
I used NYC – Mint Macaroon for the base then for the actual flowers I used a dotting tool dipped into 3 different shades of pink (NYC – Greenwich Village, NYC – Uptown and a random Accessorize pale pink) then onto the nail to create a sort of marbled effect. The leaves which could have been slightly neater were done with Revlon – Emerald City which is a matte but then of course turned shiny with the addition of topcoat.
I am quite pleased with how this turned out even though they don’t actually look like roses close up. They look nice from a distance though hence why I wore them for a couple of days! Thank you for reading!

Skittle Stripes
Hello! Just a quick post today because since my nails are so
short I haven’t had any inspiration and am struggling to find things to post.
As soon as my nails get a bit longer posts should become a bit more regular,
please just bear with me!
The pictures for this post aren’t very good quality because I took them on my phone to show my boyfriend, never intending to use them for my blog. I didn’t do any clean up so that’s why some nails look a bit scruffy. I think you get the idea though!
I was just playing around with striping tape for the first time and this was the result. It is similar to this manicure that Chalkboard Nails did a while ago. I didn’t copy it on purpose but as I was doing it, I was thinking to myself ‘I’ve seen this before…’ and then I googled and that was where!
For the base colours I used Barry M – Pure Turquoise, Indigo; China Glaze – Papaya Punch; NYC – Greenwich Village and OPI – Who The Shrek Are You? The black was just a random one from Collection 2000. I really need a new opaque black creme! Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you for reading!

Copper'ize Me Layered Over Red!
Hello everyone! Today is another manicure that I did a
couple of weeks ago because I am putting off showing you my now massacred nails.
Sadly after a couple more broke, I couldn’t deal with them all being different lengths and cut them all down to the length of the shortest nail. They literally couldn’t be any shorter. I hate them so much but sometimes that’s the way it goes, they will grow back!
All I did was start off with a base of Revlon’s Valentine then added a couple of coats of Essence Special Effect Topper in Copper’ise Me.
I absolutely love this combination! I love the way that the gold shimmer stands out against the red and how the blue glitter contrasts against the base colour. It also looks great matte but I didn’t show that here because my matte top coat has started drying with white bits on for no reason. Maybe it’s just getting old.
I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
